Main Street Veterinary Hospital opened its doors in 1988 and was originally located on Main Street in Lewisville. Our original location was a lease space that we rapidly outgrew. In 1993, the practice was moved to a beautiful 7,000 square foot facility on a wooded lot in Flower Mound. The hospital is staffed by doctors that truly have a love for animals, and pet care team members that are knowledgeable and caring. Our team receives continuing education and training so that your pet can receive the most up-to-date care possible. From the latest ultrasound equipment to advanced surgical procedures, Main Street Veterinary Hospital offers the highest level of care available.
Main Street Veterinary Hospital strongly believes that all pets deserve to be treated in a fair, respectable manner. We believe our animal patients have the right to:

An American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited facility, Main Street Veterinary Hospital received our initial accreditation in 1998. Since that time, we have regularly undergone evaluations to ensure that we meet or exceed AAHA's standards of care. These standards cover basically every aspect of the hospital, including surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, exam facilities, patient care, cleanliness, client service, emergency services, diagnostic imaging and anesthesiology. Only approximately 15 percent of animal hospitals in the United States and Canada are accredited by AAHA. AAHA accreditation is strictly voluntary; we have chosen to undergo this process to demonstrate our commitment to the highest standards of veterinary care. AAHA standards are recognized around the world as the benchmark for quality care in veterinary medicine.
