Community Involvement

Main Street Veterinary Hospital is committed to the Flower Mound community. Hospital owner Dr. Denise Smith strongly believes that giving back to the community she serves is an important part of living and working in Flower Mound.

We regularly participate in several area events and local organizations. Annually, our staff decorates a float in the Flower Mound Christmas Parade. We also provide tours of our facility and pet care information to local chapters of the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts of America. Main Street Veterinary Hospital also participates in career presentations at local schools and provides students with opportunities to "shadow" or observe veterinarians and staff.

Dr. Smith and practice manager MaryBeth Soto served on Flower Mound's original Animal Services Board for four years. The hospital continues to work with the board to adopt stray or abandoned kittens.

Main Street Veterinary Hospital believes that good medical care should be available to every pet. We work with select non-profit organizations to help provide medical care to pets in need.
